In collaboration with the UT Administration of Ladakh, SDC had organised a workshop on “Building Design for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy integration in Buildings in Ladakh” on 18 and 19 October 2022. The main aim of the workshop was to open a dialogue with the key stakeholders of the region, on future actions, and to utilise the results and learnings from the pilot project demonstration and experience in the region. The main aim was to identify the potential for deployment of Geothermal Heat Pump Technology along with other energy efficiency measures at health facilities in Ladakh.
